Benzene, H₂S, LELs, and pyrophoric scale make crude tanks some of the most dangerous confined spaces in industry. ACS keeps the crew outside the manway for the debulking, circulation, and high-pressure cutting — so by the time Final Clean starts, the worst of the hazard is already out of the tank.
Years of paraffin, asphaltenes, and mineral solids accumulate into dense bottom sludge that requires mechanical breakdown before it can be pumped. The Eliminator and Cyclone are purpose-built to fracture and liquefy it.
ACS tools are designed to work together. For a typical crude-oil storage cleanout, the Cyclone suspends the bottoms, the Eliminator breaks down hardened sludge into pumpable slurry, and the Orbiter works underneath the floating roof for access to trouble areas.
